Textbooks sold are only for the Santiago Canyon College classes. If you are a student of both campuses, you will need to purchase Santiago Canyon classes at our bookstore and the classes at Santa Ana must be purchased at the Don Bookstore at Santa Ana. Neither campus will have the books for both campuses.
We are a service bookstore. With a copy of your school schedule, we will fill your order for you.
Copies of the booklist are available in the bookstore for your reference use. The booklist is in alphabetical order by course, section number, instructor, author, title, edition and price.
When you visit our store to purchase textbooks, please bring your school schedule to help us provide the correct textbook as required by your instructor.

Receipts – All refunds for textbook and general merchandise must be accompanied by a student ID and cash register receipt from the Hawk Bookstore. Refunds for packaged or shrink-wrapped textbooks will be refunded for the full amount if unopened. The used book price will be given if opened. All textbooks must have the barcode stickers in place.

Checks – Refunds given to purchases made by check are subject to a two-week waiting period from the date of purchase. (No waiting period for cash or credit card purchases.) Please come into the Bookstore no later than September 8th to request a refund. A notation will be made on your cash register receipt indicating the date you can receive your cash refund. You have one week after the date noted on your receipt to receive your cash!

Textbooks must be returned within the first two weeks of the current semester (for regular thirteen week semester – fall / spring). Deadlines for television, mini and all other short-term sessions will be announced.

Textbook Condition – New books must be in resalable/perfect selling condition; no markings, folds, creases, scratches, soiled pages or water damage – otherwise only the used book price will be refunded. Reference books, study guides, lab manuals are non-refundable if pages have been written on or removed. Texts purchased for finals, during finals week may not be refunded or exchanged.

General merchandise – accompanied by a cash register receipt, from the Hawk Bookstore, all clothing, supplies and gift items are returnable within five business days and must be in resalable condition.
- Non-refundable items include food, drinks, calculators, study aides, software, dictionaries, greeting cards, course catalogs and all sale or clearance items.
