California Heritage Garden - The Orange County Coastkeeper garden--a native plant display, water conservation demonstration garden--is being installed on the SCC campus through a grant funded my the Metropolitan Water District. Watch for volunteer opportunities, workshops and classes.
CACEO Code Enforcement - CACEO-sponsored classes are offered in Basic, Intermediate and Advanced Code Enforcement, plus a Supervisory class.

Technical Advisory Committee Meetings - Our annual Master TAC (Technical Advisory Committee) will be held on Friday, April 23, 2010. To participate on an advisory committee contact the Department Chair, Facilitator, Instructor or the Career Education Division office. Water Industry Educational Extravaganza- Sponsored by the AWWA (American Water Works Association), Ed Ex is held here at SCC every August. Join us for one-day seminars on current and emerging continuing education/contact hours for water industry professionals. Until then, keep up-to-date with our "Hot Topics" listed on the Water Utility Science web site.
Trig-Star - Saturday, March 20, 2010, SCC Surveying & Mapping Program and the CLSA (California Land Surveyors Association) sponsors our annual Trigonometry competition for approximately 200 high school and community college students. Students and their parents, teachers and friends participate in surveying career exploration activities, enjoy lunch, visit exhibitors and tour the campus.
