Public Works

Our Public Works Program is designed to prepare students for a wide variety of entry-level positions in the Public Works field or, for persons working in the field, to become more specialized in the field and qualify for a more responsible position.

Individuals in the public works field are responsible for the approval, construction, and/or maintenance of such items as streets, sidewalks, parking lots, and storm drains; facilities and grounds maintenance, administration and operation of utilities and water resources; and the maintenance of equipment, fleet, facilities, and grounds.

Follow the links on the left to learn more about our Public Works Program. For a description of the Degree and Certificate programs, choose, Certificate/Degree from the menu options.  A complete listing of the Public Works courses offered at Santiago Canyon College can be viewed by choosing Courses from the menu.
