Women represent approximately 50% of the workforce. And yet women are under-represented in these nontraditional careers (around 4%). The State of California would like for that to be closer to 25%. Nontraditional careers for women pay 150% more than traditional women's careers. That's almost $1,000,000 in a lifetime. Nontraditional careers generally offer steady work, better salaries, career advancement and benefits!
