Phi Theta Kappa 

What is Phi Theta Kappa?
Phi Theta Kappa is the international two-year college honor society. It is loosely affiliated with Phi Beta Kappa, the most prestigious collegiate honor society in the United States. Fellowship, leadership, scholarship, and service are the four Hallmarks of excellence emphasized by Phi Theta Kappa.
What are the benefits of being a member? Members have access to numerous scholarships nationwide, including almost $30 million in scholarships reserved by transfer institutions for Phi Theta Kappans exclusively.

Phi Theta Kappans receive transcript notation and special diploma seal, as well as special recognition at graduation.
Who is eligible?
  • SCC students, both part-time and full-time, who have completed

     at least 12 transferable units at SCC or SAC.

  • Have maintained a GPA of at least 3.5 in those 12 units as well as

     cumulatively.

  • Have adhered to the RSCCD'S Student Code of Conduct.
  • Are citizens in good standing of their country. 
     
 An Invitation Any student meeting these requirements is invited to join SCC's Beta Eta Rho Chapter.

Members of Santa Ana College's Alpha Beta chapter are welcome to transfer their memberships if they would like to.
