Need Extra Math Help?
The Math Study Hall (a.k.a. MaSH) is a service provided by SCC that provides students assistance and supplement learning done in the classroom. A math faculty member, an instructional assistant, or a student tutor is always on duty to assist students with questions or concerns from their math class. Additionally, computers are available for students to access mathematical software or do work for an on-line math class. Students also have access to limited instructional videos and computer tutorial programs.
To use the MaSH, students need to enroll in one of the below MaSH classes:
| Math 073L |
if you are not taking a math course at SCC, but still want to utilize the MaSH |
| Math 083L |
if you are taking a non-transfer level math course at SCC |
| Math 093L |
if you are taking a transfer level math course at SCC |
(see the class schedule for the appropriate ticket number) Students will spend at least 9 hours in the MaSH during the 16-week semester to earn 0.2 units.
