Need Extra Help in your Math Class?
The Math Study Hall (a.k.a. MaSH) is a service provided by SCC that provides students assistance and supplement learning done in the classroom. A math faculty member, an instructional assistant, or a student tutor is always on duty to assist students with questions or concerns from their math class. Additionally, computers are available for students to access mathematical software or do work for an on-line math class. Students also have access to limited instructional videos and computer tutorial programs.
To use the MaSH, students need to enroll in one of the below MaSH classes:
||if you are not taking a math course at SCC, but still want to utilize the MaSH|
||if you are taking a math course at SCC; the lab course number directly corresponds to the math course you are enrolled. E.g., if you are enrolled in Math 140, you should enroll in Math 140L; Math N06, you should enroll in Math N06L, and so on.|
See the class schedule for the appropriate ticket numbers. Students enrolled in a MaSH lab will complete at least 10 hours and two activities in the MaSH during the 16-week semester to earn 0.2 units (grade P).
