Jeng Halili is the Artistic Director of Montage Dance Theatre. She received her MA Dance Studies from the University of Surrey in England and BA Humanities (Magna Cum Laude) from the University of the Philippines. She trained in classical ballet, modern, jazz, tap, Chinese, Indonesian, Polynesian, and Philippine dances.
During her career as a professional ballet and modern dancer, she performed in China, France, Hong Kong, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, Venezuela, United Kingdom, and USA. She performed with many internationally-reknowned dancers, including Fernando Bujones, Patrick Bissell, Leslie Brown, Joyce Cuoco, Martin Van Hamel, Natalia Makarova, Eleanor D'Antuono, and Yoko Morishita.
She also performed with the Central Ballet of China in Beijing and was featured in lead roles in classics such as Don Quixote, Giselle, La Gitana, Nutcracker, Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty and in modern pieces, such as Ang Sultan, Dabaw, and Pagsamba.
