ESL classes provide English language instruction for students at all levels of English proficiency. This program includes core ESL classes from beginning levels through intermediate levels, and specialty class options are also available.

Enrollment and Orientation Procedures
- Individuals interested in taking classes in the ESL Program take a placement assessment before enrolling into a class. The student's score on the assessment determines the appropriate level of English class. The assessment and orientation take approximately two hours.
- Call the Registration desk for an appointment to take the placement assessment at (714) 628-5900.
- All classes are free of charge and open entry/open exit.
- Textbook purchase is available at the OEC Bookstore.
