The SCC Continuing Education High School Subjects program is self-paced; individualized instruction. Classes are open-entry/open-exit throughout the year. Students must be 18 years or older. Each student receives an individualized educational plan to complete his/her personal graduation requirements. With the busy adult in mind, the High School Diploma Program is designed to be flexible. Child care services are available to students who qualify.
Under an agreement with the State of California, diplomas are issued by the Rancho Santiago Community College District to students who complete the required course of study and demonstrate proficiency in basic skills. Graduation ceremonies are traditionally held each spring on the Santiago Canyon College campus. Students may complete the diploma at any time during the year. Elective credits may be earned in a wide variety of locations throughout the community as listed in the schedule of classes published each semester.
