GENERAL INFORMATION

·         All eligible users must present a current photo I.D. in order to borrow materials:

o   College students

§  Santiago Canyon College & Santa Ana College (SCC & SAC) – college I.D. is preferred

·         government-issued I.D. or a Rancho Santiago Community College District (RSCCD) I.D. is also accepted

§  Reciprocal borrowers – college I.D.

o   Non-students and RSCCD service area community users :

§  Government-issued I.D. or Rancho Santiago Community College District (RSCCD) I.D.

·         Each borrower is responsible for any material he/she has checked out and for knowing the return date.

o   To check online to see what items are checked out and when they are due,  a borrower can:

§  go to the Find Books, DVDs link on the library homepage

§  click on the My Account tab

·         SCC & SAC students -- login with student I.D. number and last name

·         Reciprocal borrowers -- select barcode I.D. option; login with library card barcode and last name

·         non-students & community users -- select barcode I.D. option; login with library card barcode and last name

·         Due to high demand and usage, COUSE RESERVE material is limited to Santiago Canyon College students enrolled in that course; see Course Reserves  regarding loan periods and renewals.

·         Materials are returned to the Library Circulation Desk or to the Book Drop located near the college main entrance off Chapman Avenue.

·         Materials are considered “returned” when they are received and checked-in by the SCC library staff.
