Honors Registration

REGISTRATION PROCESS FOR HONORS STUDENTS

Do you have a posted cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better on your SCC transcript?
If so, you can register following normal registration procedures.

Are you a new student with no posted GPA but are currently enrolled in an Honors class?
You will be able to register in person at Admissions. Please tell the staff that you are currently enrolled in an Honors class so that they can check your records.

Are you a student with no posted GPA who is not enrolled in an Honors class?
You will need to submit a signed Honors course waiver form and register in person at Admissions. Please bring your high school or college transcripts to verify your GPA with the counselor. Course waiver forms are available in Counseling and will be signed by a counselor upon GPA verification. You may bring your sealed high school or college transcripts to Counseling to verify your GPA.

Is your cumulative GPA 3.0 or above?
GPAs are checked before the beginning of each semester, and if your current cumulative GPA drops below a 3.0, you will be dropped from Honors classes.
