What are the lab requirements?
ACE N42, 052, 102 and 116 require you to complete one hour per week outside of class on lab assignments, and lab work is part of the grade in each course. Your instructors will use the lab programs and the websites connected to your textbooks to support classroom lessons and to give you a chance to work on your specific needs
Where will I do my lab hours?
The Academic Success Center

What will I do in the lab?
- You will have a lab orientation at the beginning of each semester with your instructor and the ASC staff
- You will complete weekly assignments as specified in the Lab Manual
- Most assignments list a variety of text and computer programs (found only in the Academic Success Center - ASC)
- Spend at least one hour at a time in the lab and try to do at least 2 hours per week
- If you have additional time and want more practice, you can work on a variety of lab programs
- Your instructor can tell you which lessons will help you strengthen your weak spots
- Always check in when you enter and check out when you leave on Computer B (for required lab class hours)
- ASC staff are always available to assist you
