Audio
Text recorded in an audio format is one way of making information accessible to persons with disabilities. Individuals with learning disabilities and those with visual impairments can greatly benefit from an audio format. Audio material can be recorded on cassette tapes, on CD-ROM, or similar storage mediums. Material can also be produced in audio format by having E-text read with a speech synthesizer.
