Electronic Text

Electronic Text or "E-text" is simply text that can be stored on a computer.

E-text is fast becoming the standard in Alternate Media. E-text can be stored easily and is highly versatile. Books, audio, braille, large print, and virtually every other type of alternate format can be produced quickly from E-text.
