STUDENT ASSISTANT PROGRAM
|
Many students list "getting a good job" as one of the reasons they are attending college today. If that is the case for you it makes sense to find the easiest way to go through college; integrating your college experience with work.
The Student Placement Center offers the Student Assistant Program as an opportunity to work on campus, earn a paycheck, while attending classes. Students must be enrolled in at least 6.0 units primarily for the purpose of pursuing a degree or certificate. Students must also be U.S. Citizens or eligible non-citizens.
As a Student Assistant you will develop skills in a variety of entry-level positions within an educational setting. Your experience will enable you to communicate with a diverse population of students, work within flexible schedules, remain on campus and obtain valuable experience along the way.
The Student Placement Office strives to provide on campus jobs related to your major, or career goals. Once you are hired as a Student Assistant you will have the unique opportunity to "earn while you learn" and develop exceptional work experience.
Call or visit the Student Placement Office to make an appointment and attend an orientation for more information.
