SCC SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
We are proud to have an annual scholarship program that is growing every year. Since the programs inception in 2000, we have awarded over $345,000 in scholarships through the generosity of our donors and corporate partners.
Last year the SCC Scholarship Program awarded more than $70,000 in scholarships to deserving high school seniors, continuing SCC students and SCC students transferring to a four year college or university. We have many scholarship opportunities for students from donors and invite you to come by our office at A-206-A or call Diana Casares at (714) 628-4793 in order to obtain more information.

FOR PROSPECTIVE DONORS
Giving to the SCC Scholarship program is easy and requires very little paperwork. Anyone can set up a scholarship and can fund it at any time during the year. You can choose to donate one time or every year. If you are interested in setting up a scholarship, please contact Diana Casares at (714) 628-4793.

There are many myths when it comes to scholarships! One of the biggest myths is that winning a scholarship requires outstanding talent. In fact, there are many different types of scholarships for different grade point averages, financial needs, majors and interests.

The majority of our scholarships for SCC Continuing and Transferring Students are listed in our comprehensive SCC Scholarship Handbook.
The application period for the upcoming 2011/2010 Academic year is January 24- March 17, 2011.
We also have scholarships designated for high school students who will be enrolled in August, 2010 and are due Ocotber 28, 2010.
