​Equipment for classroom/library use only.

Allowable:  Classroom display cabinets, microscopes, student desks, equipment replacements, theater props, and other similar type of items.

Unallowable: Field trips, travel, membership dues, food items, contract services, transportation, etc. 
​Instructional Supplies
BACKGROUND:

"Instructional supplies means all material that are designed for use by pupils and their teachers as a learning resource and help pupils to acquire facts, skills, or opinions to develop cognitive processes"

Lottery guidelines (State Chancellor office)

For accounting purposes, we are only allowed to use object 4000 Supplies and Materials. That object code refers to consumable items in the classroom.

Classroom/library supplies only, less than $200 per item

Allowable:  periodicals, magazines, maps, lab supplies, glassware, etc.

Unallowable:  Field trips, travel, equipment items, membership dues, food items, contract services, transportation, etc.

​Instructional Technology
Technology equipment and software for classroom/library use only.
 
Allowable:  Printers, computers, tablets, clickers, laptops, computer carts, teacher stations, smart boards, and other similar type of items. Software for in-class use.
 
Unallowable: Field trips, travel, membership dues, food items, contract services, transportation, etc.
Non-instructional Equipment
​Equipment for non-classroom use. 
Non-instructional Supplies

  Supplies not for classroom use.  

Non-instructional Technology
​Technology equipment and software for non-classroom use.
Transportation/Fees
​All Transportation Requests and fees.
Contract Services​
​All contract services.  Services provided by district approved outside vendors that the College does not provide. 
Personnel​
Personnel needs of the unit/department/division.
​Facility need (space)
​Facility related needs such as renovations, additional space, relocations, repairs and replacements.
