Microsoft Office 365 is a cloud-based subscription service that provides the latest version of the Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and One Note. As a college employee, you can download Office 365 for free using your email address. In addition, you can use the online version of the Office applications and save files to One Drive (Microsoft cloud storage) for up to one terabyte.

You can install the full Office suite to your PC or iPad, iPhone or other mobile device. The installation is easy and fast due to the Click-to-Run technology used by Microsoft. For more information, visit the ITS website: https://intranet.rsccd.edu/ITS/Documents/misc/MS-365.pdf

However, the access to Office 365 will be terminated when your employment ends. If you prefer to keep the Office suite on your home computer, you should consider purchasing the Office suite for a $9.95 one time fee through HUP (Home Use Program) option. The newly released Office 2016 is available through HUP. Visit the ITS website for more information:

These courses are free to college employees. Access codes and instructions on accessing the Microsoft E-Learning site can be found on the ITS website:
