The Instructional
Design Center (IDC) recently opened the IDC Tech Bar! The Tech Bar is a
designated spot on campus to explore and view demonstrations of software and
technology that is available to you! Please note that the “Tech Bar"
is a play on words, and purely technology related, with the intent to fill your
brain with tech knowledge.
The Tech Bar is now
hosting Mini Tech Sessions on a regular basis! Mini Tech Sessions are 20-30
minute sessions at the IDC Tech Bar, designed to give quick introductions
and demonstrations on apps, websites, and technology. Mini Tech Sessions are going
to be held throughout the week at various times to provide flexibility. New
sessions will be added on a regular basis, as new apps and websites are
discovered.
The new Tech Bar
schedule will begin starting in January featuring apps such as
Screencast-O-Matic, Explain Everything, Canva, PowToon, YouTube, Kahoot and more! Please check the IDC website in January 2020 for updated schedule times for Mini Tech Sessions,
and full length Workshops, or to suggest a Workshop!
