​The following chart shows the sequence of courses in the ACE program, as well as how many units each course is, how many hours each one meets per week, and which additional courses ACE/ESL students at SCC are advised to take for each level.  Note: Not all courses are offered each semester.

ACE 052 students are strongly advised to also enroll in ACE 053.

Students who place below ACE 052 will be referred to SCC's Continuing Education ESL Program at the Chapman Center, 1937 W. Chapman Ave., Orange, (714) 628-5900.  SCC also has an on-campus office for Continuing Education students in U-80.

Reading 096 (3 units)

ESL 480 (Continuing Education)--this course is taught with ACE 052 on the SCC campus.

ESL 470 (Continuing Education)--this course is taught with ACE 053 on the SCC campus.

HIGH INTERMEDIATE

ACE 102  4 units, 6 hours/week

ACE 093    2 units, 2 hours/week

           Speaking and Listening

ACE 102 students are strongly advised to also enroll in ACE 093.
