Lab Information

 

 Do ACE classes have lab hours?

ACE 052, 102 and 116 use classroom time in two ways: 3 hours of lecture time and 3 hours of lab time each week.  One class session of each week is lecture, when the professor gives new information, reviews homework and class assignments with students, and students work on other related activities.  The other class session of each week is your lab time, when students meet with the instructor to review writing assignments and use the lab computers to complete individualized lab tasks as well as other projects.  Here is a brief explanation of how the lab works:

  • Students will have an orientation to the lab programs at the beginning of each semester.
  • They will complete weekly assignments as specified in their lab manual or posted on the board.
  • These assignments require the use of computer programs in the lab, and many of these tasks are graded.

Hours:  MTWTh  8:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M.  The lab closes for lunch daily. Check H-230 for lunch hours.

              F  8:00 A.M. - 12:00 P.M.

              Closed on weekends.
