We pride ourselves in teaching traditional aesthetics with a contemporary approach.  Students will learn a range of techniques from rendering, line work, and oil painting to digital photography and design.  The art department also emphasizes conceptual analysis as a way for students to find their own artistic voice.
Student artwork is showcased at our annual “Art Sale” in the fall, the annual “Student Art Show” in the spring, and throughout campus.  Make sure to visit our SCC Art Gallery
