Intersession 2022 - Now Enrolling!Astronomy 102: Stars and Galaxies (section #04814) will meet Monday through Thursday from 9:00 am to 12:20 pm from January 3 to January 27, 2021. Astronomy explores various topics including the history and development of Astronomy, our solar system and the planets within it, our Sun, stars, the Milky Way, Galaxies, and Cosmology. There are new discoveries made everyday. Students will have an opportunity to explore some these discoveries in their classes.
Courses Offered

All courses satisfy general education requirements, and the Astronomy Lab course satisfies the physical science lab requirement. Astronomy 102, 103, 112 and 101L will give students a good foundation from which they can pursue their own career in Astronomy.
