Personal:​ Alyssa is the daughter of Joe and Blanca and has 5 siblings.  She plans to pursue a career as a pediatric nurse after graduation.  Alyssa has received All-League Honors twice during her time at Villa Park High School and was named the Best Newcomer during her sophomore year.  She said a softball coach she had when she was 9 years old had the greatest influence on her life because he believed in her, made her a better person, and always pushed her to her full potential.
