Professional Networking Workshops
This semester, the Business and Career Education Division will host Professional Networking Workshops where we will feature a different employer each time. The employer will present general information on their company and industry and will talk about upcoming jobs and internships they will be hiring for. Students will have the opportunity to engage in a Q&A session where they can ask various questions about the company culture, possible career pathways, hiring processes and other advice for entering the workforce. Refreshments will be provided.
Students attending and engaging in these workshops will have the opportunity to earn a Professional Networking digital badge to share on their LinkedIn profile or resume. In addition, students will have the opportunity to network with and develop professional contacts that could be helpful in the future. Students will also get ahead of the job searching competition by learning what jobs and internships are opening and what qualities and skills the employer is seeking.
