Advisory Committee

The Water Utility Science program at SCC has a robust advisory committee consisting of private and public sector professionals from the Water and Wastewater industry. The committee plays a vital role in keeping the program aligned with industry needs, and provides guidance on curriculum, class offerings, and information on industry trends. 

The role of the advisory committee:
  • Members convene 1-2 times annually to provide input on industry workforce trends, curriculum topics and program development.
  • Members may be called on during the year to provide response to electronic survey questions on training topics needed in the industry.
  • Members may be called on during the year to provide just-in-time information on special industry topics.
