Department's Vision:
The Geography and The Environment Department provides a path to students who wish to transfer to four year institutions in Geography and serves the diverse needs of students who wish to obtain a broad and in-depth understanding of the field.
Department's Mission:
The Geography and The Environment Department is committed to creating a learning environment that allows students to examine the environmental and spatial science of geography including both physical and cultural landscapes across the Earth. Furthermore, courses in Geography prepare students interested in careers in environmental studies, education, urban planning and geospatial technologies.
