On Tuesday, September 24th, SCC hosted the annual Pre-Medical Workshop, inviting CSU Long Beach's Health Professions Advising Office to present SCC students with information related to careers in medicine.  Attendees received valuable information regarding medical schools and:

• Admissions criteria
• Science prerequisite courses
• Letters of recommendation
• Extra-curricular involvement
• Interviewing for med-school
• and the Application process
