Tech Support FAQ'S:

​​What is my student e-mail address?​​​​

Student Email addresses are the WebAdvisor ID @student.sac.edu or @student.sccollege.edu (e.g. jd12345@student.sac.edu or jd12345@student.sccollege.edu). 

Default Password: Use the WebAdvisor Password.

For new students, the default Web Advisor password is your date of birth in the Mmmddyyyy format, with the first letter of the month capitalized (e.g. if your birthday is November 15, 2015 the default password would be Nov152015)​​

WebAdvisor ID:
Your ID is the initials of your first and last name plus 5 random numbers.
For example: fl54932​

Password:

How do I connect to the Wifi?​

​Students can connect to the Wifi on campus from their personal devices using their WebAdvisor ID, and password.

Please Note: The use of the wireless service is for quick access to the Internet.  If you expect to be logged in for a lengthy period of time it would be more effective if you use one of the college computers in the Library. Do not use this service for downloading graphics, audio or video.

Can I print on campus?​

Copy and print services are available in the Library at the Go Print Printer Stations & Copy Card Vending Machine​.

Can I download Microsoft Office to my personal computer?​​

Yes! Currently enrolled students are also provided access to Microsoft 365 for no additional charge.

Can SCC fix my computer?​​

No. SCC does not provide technical support for students’ personal computers or devices.
