Kognito Training
Kognito offers a training for faculty, staff and students of California Community Colleges. There is a training module specifically to address the challenges student veterans may face while adjusting to college life.
Each training takes 30-60 minutes to complete and is structured as a
virtual practice environment where users learn by engaging in
interactive role-play conversations with emotionally responsive student
avatars.
Kognito is made available to all California community colleges through the CCC Student Mental Health Program, a partnership between the Chancellor’s Office and the Foundation for California Community Colleges funded through a grant from the California Mental Health Services Authority (CalMHSA).
Giving Opportunities
The VRC works to support veterans and their family members as they navigate the transition to college life. The services provided are student-centered and strive to be holistic in nature. The VRC provides students a safe space to seek additional resources that impact their lives beyond the classroom. Every donation helps us to build a stronger support system for our student veterans.
