COVID-19 legislation that permits you to receive MHA (Monthly Housing Allowance) at the resident (in-person) rate for classes taken online, has ended as of June 1, 2022. When enrolling for courses after that date or any subsequent term, you will need to enroll in approved on-campus/resident classes to continue receiving your MHA at the resident rate. Additionally, if you choose to continue training online after June 1, 2022, your monthly housing allowance will reduce to half the national average.
SCC Class Formats:

| Online (O) - Considered DISTANCE for VA purposes
Online (O) classes are distance education classes with no scheduled meeting days. Students will log in to Canvas and complete work regularly throughout the week. Other technologies may be required to complete coursework.

| On-line Live (OL) - Considered DISTANCE for VA purposes
Fully Remote Live Instruction: Live streaming intruction via Zoom during the days and times indicated. Students log in to Canvas. Students log into Canvas. sccollege,edu/Canva. There will be no instruction on-campus.

| Virtual Hybrid (VH) - Considered DISTANCE for VA purposes
Virtual Hybrid (VH) Instruction : A combination of online and some live streaming instruction via Zoom during the days and times indicated. Students log into Canvas. sccollege,edu/Canva. There will be no instruction on-campus.

| Hybrid (H)- Considered ON-CAMPUS for VA purposes
On-Campus Hybrid Instructions: A combination of online instruction and on-campus meetings during the days and times indicated.

| Campus (C) - Considered ON-CAMPUS for VA purposes
Face-to-Face (F2F) classes are in person and on-campus classes with weekly scheduled meeting days and times as indicated.
