Graduation FAQs

​​​​​​Where will the Commencement be held?
Angel Stadium, 2000 E Gene Autry Way, Anaheim, CA 92806
What is the date and time for the Commencement?
Tuesday June 14, 2021, 6:30 p.m.
Is this also for the class of 2020 graduates?
Do we need to register to attend, and will there be a registration deadline?
Yes, registering will be required. Students registering after May 14, 2021 will not be accepted.
What if I didn't receive a registration, will I still be able to participate?
Please contact the SCC-Continuing Education Graduation Office to see if you are eligible.  
Will students be seated on the field?
No, students will be seated in the stadium seats.
Will graduates go on the stage to receive their diplomas?
No. Graduates will stay in their seats in the stands while their name is called.
Will guests and graduates that are unable to use stairs be allowed to use the elevators?
Yes, all graduates and guests will have access to elevators.
Will we be allowed to bring guests? 
Yes, each graduate will receive 4 guest tickets. Children 2 years and under do not need a ticket.

What time will the parking lot open and is there a fee for parking?
5:00 p.m., and parking is free.
May we tailgate in the parking lot?
No. there will be absolutely no tailgating allowed.
May I bring balloons?
No. Balloons are not allowed inside the stadium.
​​Will there be photo opportunities?
Yes, in the stadium parking lot before and after the ceremony.
Will there be refreshments or snacks for sale at the stadium?
No, there will be no food or drinks for sale, and you are not allowed to bring in outside food or drinks into the stadium. The exception being, 1 water bottle per person only.
May we wear heels?
No, but Wedges are ok​
Will we be sitting with our guests?
No, students will be seated in the student section, and guests will be seated in a separate guest section. 
Where can I pick up my cap & gown?
Ye, Students can pick up their Cap, Gown, graduation tickets and other graduation materials at

What COVID 19 safety protocols will be in place during the event?
Masks will be required for all participating graduates and guests at all times while on stadium property. The parking lot is included as stadium property, Therefore, masks must be worn while taking photos in the parking lot.​
