High School Students: Library Use Policy/Rules & Application
High school students are welcome to use the Santiago Canyon College [SCC] Library with parental or legal guardian written permission as provided on the
High School Student Library User Application.
High school student accompanied by parent or legal guardian must come to the Library to apply for high school student library use privileges.
Parent or legal guardian must:
Live or work in Rancho Santiago Community College District service area
Present two (2) forms of identification showing current home address including one that is a photo I.D.
- High school student must present a valid photo identification
Community Patron Card is valid for one year from the date issued
- The following services are available to High School Students users:
Use/check out library materials
Place a “Hold” on SCC library material
Request Interlibrary loans [ILL] from Santa Ana College Library
Use library computers
The Library provides open access to the Internet; users are advised that they may encounter material which may be considered inappropriate in nature or content. Users are advised that neither SCC nor the Rancho Santiago Community College District assume responsibility for the content of any of these outside networks.]
- The high school student will present: 1) his/her valid photo identification; and, 2) the parent or legal guardian’s Community Patron Card for the following:
Checking out library materials
Placing a “Hold” on library material
Requesting an Interlibrary loan [ILL] from Santa Ana College Library
