(Orange, CA) - The Santiago Canyon College (SCC) Foundation will host the fifteenth annual Hawks Golf Tournament at the Tustin Ranch Golf Club on Friday, April 24. Friends and supporters of the college will enjoy a day of golf to raise funds to support the college foundation, SCC’s athletic programs, and to provide scholarships for scholar-athletes. Vince Ferragamo, former quarterback in the National Football League and Canadian Football League, will be joining in on the fun.
Golfers will register from 10:00 a.m. to noon when the driving range will also be open. At 10:30 a.m., the putting contest gets underway. At noon, a shotgun start and a four-person scramble will take place. Throughout the tournament, on-course contests will include men’s/women’s closest to the pin contests, a hole in one challenge, men’s/women’s longest drive competition, and a marshmallow drive.
The event ends with a silent auction at 5:00 p.m. and the Wrangler Grill barbecue dinner at 5:30 p.m. Singles or foursomes can register to play 18 holes of golf. Golfers can register to compete in the putting contest that will take place prior to the tee-off even if they are not playing the full tournament. Dinner-only packages are also available at $50 per person.
Foursome registration is $1,000 and single player registration is $250. The package includes a round of golf, on-cart lunch, green fees, driving range, on-course beverages, tee gift bag, and a barbecue dinner. The last day to register is April 20.
