(Orange) - Santiago Canyon College’s (SCC) Theatre Arts Department presents “Mrs. Bob Cratchit’s Wild Christmas Binge” by playwright Christopher Durang and directed by Katie Stone. A musical parody of the Charles Dickens classic, “A Christmas Carol.”
It’s a story that combines favorite Christmas tales (slightly askew) and questions “what if Mrs. Cratchit wasn’t so saintly, but instead an angry, stressed out modern day woman in 1840’s London.
Tickets are on sale in the SCC bookstore - $12.00 for students, seniors and SCC faculty and $15.00 for general public. Evening performances will be held on November 30 and December 1, 7 and 8 beginning at 7:30 p.m. with matinee performances being held on December 1, 2, 8 and 9 at 2:30 p.m.
Due to some language and adult themes, children are not recommended. Children under 5 will not be admitted.
