Earth Day Fair
WHEN:
Tuesday, April 21 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
WHO:
Coastkeeper of Orange County will have an information booth and offer free tours of its drought tolerant garden on the campus of SCC.
Students who sign a pledge for a healthy earth will be entered into an opportunity drawing; prizes included drought-tolerant plants and tickets to the Aquarium of the Pacific.
Free smoothies and “cups of dirt,” chocolate pudding topped with crushed Oreos and Gummy worms

WHY:
This Earth Day event is part of the sustainability strategies supported by
Rancho Santiago Community College District. The
RSCCD Sustainability Plan was approved by the RSCCD Board of Trustees at its meeting of March 9, 2015.
About Santiago Canyon College
Santiago Canyon College (SCC) serves about 14,000 students each semester.
