Intersession 2022 - Counselor Hours

Counseling Services are available in-person (Building D, Room - 106) and Online:​​​

Monday: 9:00 am - 6:00 pm

Tuesday: 9:00 am - 6:00 pm

Wednesday: 9:00 am - 6:00 pm

Thursday: 11:45 am - 6:00 pm

Friday: 9:00 am - Noon (online only)

  • At this time, all available Online Counseling appointments for Intersession 2022 have been booked.  If you need to schedule an Online Counseling appointment, please click the "Connect with a Counselor" icon below and check the online appointment scheduling site beginning February 11th at 8:00am for our Spring 2022 availability.

  • For quick Q&A or assistance with planning classes for Spring 2022, please continue to utilize our Live Chat online service or in-person Counseling on campus in room D-106. 

  • If you have external transcripts from another college/university that need to be evaluated as part of your course planning, please call the Counseling office at (714) 628-4800.​

The minimum age is 16 years.  Student must have completed his/her high school studies.  Must provide proof of high school completion.




Admitted students who wishes to change majors must contact the international students office.  Student will have to meet with an academic counselor to update his/her educational plan.  It is recommended that students wishing to switch majors, schedule a meeting with an academic counselor at least six weeks prior the end of the semester.

An official transcript is a hard-copy/paper copy transcript that arrived to our college in a sealed enveloped directly from your previous school. You need to contact your school to request official transcripts as those are not sent automatically when transferring schools.  Electronic transcripts are not considered “official” however, these are accepted for admission decision only.

As of December 15, 2021, SCC does not require students to have a COVID-19 vaccine.  However, SCC encourages all students to obtain their vaccine. Masks are required for indoor settings (e.g. classrooms, hallways, etc.)

SCC accepts different English Language tests such as TOEFL, IELTS, and Duolingo; full list here.  If you do not meet the minimum score required, you can improve your English language skills by enrolling in our Intensive English Language Program (ELP).  ​​

No, SCC does not require SAT or ACT scores.  Please full list of admission requirements. ​
