How to Qualify for EOPS/Eligibility:
- You must be a California resident
- You must be enrolled as a full-time student (12 units or more)
- You must be eligible for the BOGW (California Board of Governor’s Waiver A or B)
- You must have fewer than 30 units of degree applicable credits as defined by Title V Education Code Section 69640
- You must be educationally disadvantaged as defined by EOPS
EOPS offers several services to assist eligible students in successfully completing their educational
goal(s).
- Priority Registration
- Book Services: loans or vouchers
- Scholarship Information
- School Supplies
- Outreach and Recruitment
- Orientation of College: assessment, registration scheduling of classes, and college information
- Counseling Services: academic, career and personal
- Assistance with Financial Aid (FAFSA)
- Transfer Services: applying to CSU/UC/Private
- Cultural and Educational Events
- CARE: Services for single parents

CalWORKs (is housed in the EOPS/CARE office)
EOPS Student’s Responsibilities:
- Be enrolled full-time (unless approved by a counselor)
- Meet your mandatory three counseling appointments each semester
- Turn in a Faculty Feedback form every semester
- Attend Early Scheduling in May and November
- Notify EOPS Office of any changes in person (class schedule, dropping a course, major, address, phone number and e-mail and personal status).
