President's Circle Program Details

​​​​The purpose of the President’s Circle is to recognize faculty, staff, alumni and friends of Santiago Canyon College who have a made a special commitment to SCC's mission by donating $500 or more to the Hawks (unrestricted) Fund in a single year. These funds are vital to supporting underfunded current programs or innovative new programs.
  
Membership Levels and Benefits
 
Gold - $1,000+
  • Pledge $1,000 or more to the President's Circle Fund and pay in full by check, credit card or direct debit (ACH). If you would prefer to pay in 4 quarterly or 12 monthly installments, we can set up automatic payments linked to your credit card or checking account (ACH). 
  • For RSCCD faculty and staff: Commit to making 10 payroll deduction payments of $100 or more to the President's Circle.

       Benefits include:

  • ​Small SCC logo "thank you" gift 
  • Invitation for four to special events, including an annual President's Circle member recognition event hosted by the  President of the College (not transferrable) 
  • Name recognition in SCC Annual Report
  • Print copy of the SCC Annual Report
  • Dedicated liaison for all of your on-campus inquiries ​
  • For organizational members: name and logo recognition in newsletters/e-blasts to alumni and community members (over 15,000 emails and counting)
  • For organizational members: name and logo recognition on the college foundation's website (hyperlinked to organization's website)​

Blue - $500 to $999
  • Pledge $500 - $999 to the President's Circle Fund and pay in full by check, credit card or direct debit from your checking account (ACH). If you would prefer to pay in 4 quarterly or 12 monthly installments, we can set up automatic payments linked to your credit card or checking account (ACH).
  • For RSCCD faculty and staff: Commit to making 10 payroll deduction equaling $500 - $999 to the President's Circle.
       Benefits include:
  • Invitation for two to special events, including an annual President's Circle member recognition event hosted by the  President of the College (not transferrable)
  • Name recognition in the SCC Annual Report
  • Print copy of the SCC Annual Report
  • Dedicated liaison for all of your on-campus inquiries

​​Terms of Membership
Membership begins from the date of your pledge and expires on the last day of that same month in the following year (assuming all pledge payments have been made).  For example, a donor who makes a pledge on May 15, 2019 would be a President's Circle member until May 31, 2020. Membership will be suspended at any time if 1) a pledged for a payment in full has not been made within two months of the initial pledge, 2) monthly direct debit, credit card or payroll deduction payments have not been initiated within two months of the pledge date, or 3) ACH, credit card or payroll payments are suspended for more than two consecutive months.  No refunds can be issued for donations already received.   
  
Charitable Tax Deduction
Contributions to the Santiago Canyon College Foundation are 100% tax deductible to the fullest extent of state and federal law.   The foundation's tax ID is 33-0794988.
Review of and Revisions to the Program
SCC's Office of College Advancement reserves the right to review the terms and benefits of the President’s Circle leadership giving program periodically and revise them as necessary.
