President's Circle Program Details

The purpose of the President’s Circle is to recognize faculty, staff, alumni and friends of Santiago Canyon College who have a made a special commitment to SCC's mission by donating $500 or more to the Hawks (unrestricted) Fund in a single year. These funds are vital to supporting underfunded current programs or innovative new programs.
  
Membership Levels and Benefits
 
Blue - $500 to $999
  • Pledge $500 - $999 to the SCC Hawks Fund and pay in full by check, credit card or direct debit from your checking account (ACH). If you would prefer to pay in 4 quarterly or 12 monthly installments, we can set up automatic payments linked to your credit card or checking account (ACH).
  • For RSCCD faculty and staff: Commit to making 10 payroll deduction equaling $500 - $999 to the SCC Hawks Fund.
       Benefits include:
  • Small SCC logo "thank you" gift
  • Invitation for two to the Annual “State of the College” luncheon hosted by the  President of the College (not transferrable)
  • Special invitations for two guests from the President’s Office to selected campus events/symposia, including art gallery openings, performing arts events, etc. 
  • Name recognition in the SCC Annual Report
  • Print copy of the SCC Annual Report
Gold - $1,000+
  • Pledge $1,000 or more to the SCC Hawks Fund and pay in full by check, credit card or direct debit (ACH). If you would prefer to pay in 4 quarterly or 12 monthly installments, we can set up automatic payments linked to your credit card or checking account (ACH). 
  • For RSCCD faculty and staff: Commit to making 10 payroll deduction payments of $100 or more to the SCC Hawks Fund.

       Benefits include:

  • ​Small SCC logo "thank you" gift 
  • Invitation for four to the Annual “State of the College” luncheon hosted by the President of the College (not transferrable)
  • Special invitations for up to four guests from the President’s Office to selected campus events/symposia, including art gallery openings, performing arts events, etc. 
  • Name or Logo (for business) recognition in the print version of the SCC Annual Report
  • Print copy of the SCC Annual Report
  • Name or logo (for business) recognition on the college foundation’s website (hyperlinked to business’s website)
  • For business members only: logo recognition in foundation newsletters to alumni, parents and donors (currently over 13,000 unique emails and growing).
     
​​Terms of Membership
Membership begins from the date of your pledge and expires on the last day of that same month in the following year (assuming all pledge payments have been made).  For example, a donor who makes a pledge on May 15, 2017 would be a President's Circle member until May 31, 2018. Membership will be suspended at any time if 1) a pledged for a payment in full has not been made within two months of the initial pledge, 2) monthly direct debit, credit card or payroll deduction payments have not been initiated within two months of the pledge date, or 3) ACH, credit card or payroll payments are suspended for more than two consecutive months.  No refunds can be issued for donations already received.   
  
Charitable Tax Deduction
Contributions to the Santiago Canyon College Foundation are 100% tax deductible to the fullest extent of state and federal law.    
Review of and Revisions to the Program
The Santiago Canyon College Foundation reserves the right to review the terms and benefits of the President’s Circle membership program periodically and revise them as necessary. All changes to the program will be communicated in writing to members 90-days before the changes take effect, and a member’s current benefits will remain intact until the next renewal date.
