The Office of Student Equity and Success along with The Veteran Services Office are proud to present the Vet Net Ally Program. This seminar is designed to develop a network of faculty, staff, students, and administrators committed to creating a welcoming and supportive environment for military service members and veterans that study at SCC
The seminar will include discussions around:
- Veteran experiences transitioning from military to civilian life
- Veteran experience in the classroom
- Veteran experiences navigation higher education
- Military culture
- Case study exercises
- Veteran Student Panel
- Best practices in supporting veterans
Those that complete the entire seminar will receive a Vet Net Ally sticker that may be displayed in their work space to show that they are allies to SCC student veterans
