Description:
Students will learn principles of flower arranging including composition and color coordination. Course will cover topics such as proper usage of mechanical supplies, handling of flowers and foliages, flower and foliage identification, pricing of arrangements, and proper design techniques. Students will learn merchandising, marketing and pricing for their own home based business. Upon completion of all appropriate classes, students will be proficient enough to find employment in the floral industry or to start and maintain their own home based business.
Students should bring a pair of pruning shears to class.
A material fee of $125 is payable to the instructor.
