The Solar Installation Certificate program begins with foundational training in Solar Installation I, covering principles of solar energy, system components, safety protocols, electrical basics, and residential installation techniques. Solar Installation II has an emphasis on designing, installing, and maintaining off-grid and battery-based systems, including battery technology, system sizing, energy management, and troubleshooting. Completing this series equips students with the knowledge to pursue a career as a solar photovoltaic installation technician.
