Fitness Center
The Fitness Center features a variety of cardio and resistance training equipment including: treadmills, upright and recumbent bicycles, rowing machines, weight stack machines, kettle bells, medicine balls, abdominal benches and free weights. The Fitness Center also features several flat panel televisions complete with Direct TV to enhance the workout experience.
To use the Fitness Center students must be enrolled in a kinesiology course. Students
can earn CSU-transferable general education credit by enrolling in Basic Circuit Weight
Training (KIN 140A, 140B, 140C) Class times vary by semester.
In these classes, students are introduced to various strength and endurance activities
using their own body weight and exercise equipment available in the Fitness Center.
Instructors are also available to assist with developing a fitness plan to help students
achieve their maximum health potential.
