Early College (Dual Enrollment)
Welcome to the SCC Dual Enrollment!
What is Dual Enrollment?
Dual enrollment at SCC provides students with the exciting and unique opportunity to earn FREE TRANSFERABLE college units.
- High school students (also known as special admit students) can take college courses taught at their high school, at SCC, on the weekends, or online.
- Students who are currently enrolled in grades K-8 must obtain approval from the appropriate SCC Division Dean. Please follow the steps below for “Middle School students”
- Adult School/Continuing Education (OEC) students must obtain approval from a OEC Counselor who will establish their eligibility for Adult Dual Enrollment. Please contact the OEC counseling office for an appointment or reach out to the Dual Enrollment Office for more information.
⚠️ Important Update: Special Admit Form (SAF). SCC is phasing out the paper SAF for high school dual enrollment. All high school requests must now be completed through the SCC Dual Enrollment Portal.
Paper SAFs will be accepted only for Middle School and Adult/OEC/Continuing education students.
