Welcome to the Office of Student Equity & Success

Our Mission:

The Office of Student Equity and Success serves as a campus resource for faculty, staff, students, and administrators to learn more about the students that are disproportionately impacted by barriers outside of their control, and to develop programs and activities designed toreduce the achievement gap for these students at SCC. Through social justice and anti-racist trainings, we hope to create more inclusive learning environments where all students can thrive. Overall, we hope to impart to the campus community the tools and skills necessary to create programmatic, curricullar, policy, institutional, and structural changes that will remove obstacles that impede student success for our most marginalized students.
