FAQs

No. Students who already have a high school diploma or a GED/HiSET certificate are not eligible for the Adult Dual Enrollment Program. However, you may still apply to the college as a regular student.

We recommend that students have a strong understanding of English, as all courses are taught in English. Students should be able to understand, read, and write in English. If you are unsure about your readiness, please speak with a counselor for guidance and support.

Dual Enrollment students are encouraged to take up to 11 units (about three to four classes) during the Fall, Spring, and Summer terms to make the most of their educational opportunities. During Winter Intersession, students may take up to 6 units (about two classes). Summer course availability may vary, so students should plan their schedules accordingly. Please note that students must remain within the maximum unit limits to stay eligible for the Dual Enrollment Program.
