Laptop Loaner Program

The Loaner Laptop Program is for students who do not have access to technology at home and are in need of a loaner laptop to participate in noncredit courses.

Eligibility

To be eligible for the Continuing Education Laptop Loaner Program, students must be actively enrolled in a qualifying continuing education program.
Eligibility will be determined by college staff based on enrollment status and program requirements.

How to Get a Loaner Laptop

Step 1: Submit a Participation Request
Begin by completing the appropriate Laptop Loaner Program Participation Request form.

Step 2: Review Process
After you submit the participation request form, your information will be reviewed by college staff. This process ensures that all eligibility criteria are met and that you are enrolled in a qualifying program.

Step 3: Confirmation and Pick-Up Instructions
Once your eligibility is confirmed, you will receive an email from the college with further instructions. This email will include details on when and where you can pick up your loaner laptop. Be sure to follow all provided instructions to successfully obtain your laptop.

Laptop Distribution Location:

Students are required to pick up their laptops in person at Santiago Canyon College. Unfortunately, laptops cannot be shipped.

Device Distribution Process:

  1. Arrival and Parking:

    • Upon arriving at Santiago Canyon College, students should park in a designated stall within Parking Lot 6.
    • After parking, proceed on foot to the front desk of the Lorenzo A. Ramirez Library to collect your laptop.
  2. Required Documentation:

    • To receive a loaner device, you must bring the following items to your scheduled appointment:
      • Student ID Number
      • Photo Identification (This can be your Student ID or a California Driver License)
      • Home or Mailing Address
      • Phone Number
      • Email Address
      • Completed Loaner Laptop Agreement (This document will be provided on-site for you to read and sign)
