Santiago Canyon College Named CommunityVotes Orange Platinum Winner

ORANGE, Calif. – Santiago Canyon College (SCC) has been named the 2026 Platinum winner in the College and University category by CommunityVotes Orange, a community-driven awards program recognizing local businesses, organizations and institutions.

The recognition is determined through public nominations and voting, with SCC receiving the most votes among finalists in the College and University category.

“This recognition is particularly meaningful because it comes directly from the community we serve,” said SCC Acting President Enrique Perez. “Santiago Canyon College is Orange’s college. Our students, employees, alumni and community partners are part of the fabric of this city, and we are proud that our community recognizes SCC as a place where people can learn, grow and create opportunities for themselves and their families.”

CommunityVotes provides residents with an opportunity to nominate and vote for local organizations across a variety of categories. SCC earned the program’s highest recognition, Platinum, in the 2026 Orange awards.
