Summer Advantage Academy for STEM
SCC's Summer Advantage Academy will include a special session exclusively for STEM students. Incoming SCC students can opt to join us on Monday August 12th or Tuesday August 13th in the afternoon immediately after the normal Summer Advantage Academy program, which will run from 1:30pm-3:00pm.This will be an opportunity to meet fellow STEM majors and STEM faculty. In addition, there will be a STEM activity competition, food, and prizes! Space is limited, so make sure you register early.
Registration for 2024 STEM Summer Advantage Academy will open May 31, 2024, and the last day to register is Friday August 2, 2024.

STEM Counseling & Career Development faculty offer virtual assistance through Online Counseling Appointments and Live-Chat services using Cranium Café and Zoom. In-person Counseling Services are also available by appointment and on a drop-in basis.

SCC is offering an in-person workshop to help students prepare for their STEM courses in the fall and beyond. The workshop will answer the following questions and more!
- What STEM major is best for me?
- Where do I go to get help with STEM courses?
- What strategies should I be using to be successful in STEM courses?
- Where can I find out about paid internship opportunities?
This is a 1-day workshop on July 31, 2024, from 11:00am to 3:30pm. Space is limited, so make sure you register early.
