Covid-19 Emergency Funds

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​The Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund (HEERF) is emergency funding from the federal government to assist students who are experiencing a financial emergency situation.

These funds can help qualifying students who are facing an unexpected financial emergency and need help with one or more of the following items in order to stay enrolled in college: tuition, books, supplies, food, transportation, housing, child care, or health care.

• This funding is designed to help current eligible students avoid dropping out when unexpected financial emergencies occur due to COVID-19.
• This funding is a grant, which means it does not have to be repaid, and it will not affect your financial aid award package.                                    
• This funding is ​a one-time emergency assistance. It may not be a solution to all of a student's financial issues​.​ 

These funds are limited, are not an entitlement, and​ applications will be evaluated in the order received until funds are depleted.

Additional documentation may be requested by the financial aid office to determine eligibility.
